Bespoke Media Group Drives Innovation with Launch of Real Estate Pulse

Bespoke Media Group, the company behind the trusted Real Estate Today brand, has announced the launch of Real Estate Pulse — a bold new publication designed to bridge the gap between the real estate industry and the consumer market, while continuing to move the industry forward.

The launch coincides with the second anniversary of Real Estate Today New Zealand, and reflects CEO Nic Fren’s ongoing commitment to innovation, leadership, and elevating the standards of real estate media across the region.

Unlike traditional publications, Real Estate Pulse is not about adding another voice to an already saturated market.

It is about building on the foundation of trust, integrity, and influence that Bespoke Media has carefully established — and creating a dynamic new platform that ensures the best of the industry is better understood, appreciated, and engaged with by consumers.

"The real estate sector deserves a stronger, clearer voice in the public domain — one that reflects the expertise, professionalism and genuine care so many agents and property professionals bring to their work," said Bespoke Media Group CEO Nic Fren.

"Like any good collaboration, listening is key.
After months of conversations with agents and industry leaders across New Zealand, we recognised that the market was asking for a different kind of media outlet — one that connects directly with consumers while celebrating the achievements of those working within the industry."

Fren, who personally toured New Zealand to meet with frontline agents, says the development of Real Estate Pulse reflects Bespoke Media’s philosophy of continually listening, adapting, and leading.

"We’ve spent weeks — and in many cases months — refining the balance, the look, and the feel of this publication," he said.

"Our marketplaces want up-to-date, relevant information — and we have that in spades. The real challenge is ensuring we have the right vehicle to get that education and leadership out there."

Addressing Industry Challenges

The launch of Real Estate Pulse is also designed to address several critical gaps in today’s media landscape:

  • Misinformation and conflicting narratives: Consumers often receive fragmented or sensationalised property news. Real Estate Pulse will provide credible, clear, and trusted updates.

  • Disconnect between the industry and the public: While agents and property professionals are highly active, their expertise is not always visible to the broader market. Real Estate Pulse will showcase authentic voices and insights from within the sector.

  • Over-reliance on jargon-heavy reporting: Many consumers find property news inaccessible or overwhelming. Real Estate Pulse will deliver market commentary that is straightforward, relatable, and empowering.

  • Lack of opportunity for industry professionals to lead the conversation: Agents, property managers, and advocates often struggle to find a platform that values their on-the-ground expertise. Real Estate Pulse will provide that platform.

"This isn’t about creating noise for the sake of it," Fren added."It's about lifting the overall standard of dialogue between the industry and the people it serves — and ensuring the right stories are told, by the right voices."

Parent company Bespoke Media Group has already successfully expanded the Real Estate Today brand across New Zealand, Australia, the Indo-Pacific and India, with plans to launch in the United States in 2026 — marking it as one of the fastest-growing independent real estate media brands in the world.

Naturally, there has already been early interest from the Australian market regarding Real Estate Pulse’s model. However, Fren says there are currently no formal plans for expansion beyond New Zealand at this stage.

"We’re aware of the interest coming from Australia, and it’s flattering," he said. "But right now, our focus is on ensuring Real Estate Pulse delivers exactly what the New Zealand market has asked for. Getting it right here first is the priority."

A core feature of Real Estate Pulse will be its collaborative model.

The success of the publication will rely heavily on the active involvement of the real estate community itself — with agents, property managers, buyers’ advocates, and industry thought leaders invited to contribute across key topics that consumers care about most, including:

  • Navigating today’s market conditions

  • Understanding what drives property values

  • Preparing properties for sale

  • Investment strategies for different economic cycles

  • Renting vs buying: advice for different life stages

  • Emerging property trends shaping the future

Submissions are now open, with full contribution guidelines available at Real Estate Today New Zealand.

"We aren’t here to simply report on the industry — we’re here to champion it, challenge it to keep evolving, and ensure its best voices are heard loud and clear," Fren said.

"That’s the role of modern media: not just to inform, but to lead."

Partnership and advertising opportunities are now available for organisations aligned with the publication’s commitment to trust, relevance, and simplicity.
