"As soon as I hear these words, I'm out, for two reasons" explains Bespoke Media's chief executive Nic Fren when it comes to tuning into those going live on social media.
get going with your content & post it to your channels later........
As soon as I hear that line, what I immediately think is:
1) Am i not good enough for you to be sharing your content with?
2) I've got stuff to do. I don't want to wait around for 5 minutes for more people to join, to feed your ego.
Social media live broadcasts have become an increasingly popular way for content creators and businesses to connect with their followers and potential customers in real-time.
While there are many benefits to going live, there are also some potential drawbacks to consider.
One of the biggest pros of going live is increased engagement with your followers and potential customers. Live broadcasts allow you to connect with and build a community of people who are interested in similar topics, and provide an opportunity to share real-time information and updates about products or services.
Additionally, live broadcasts can lead to increased brand exposure and reach, as well as immediate feedback and interaction with your viewers.
However, there are also some cons to going live. One of the most significant is that it requires a consistent schedule and regular content to maintain engagement.
Additionally, there is a potential for technical difficulties or internet connection issues during live broadcasts, which can be frustrating for both the content creator and the audience. Preparing and executing live broadcasts can also be time-consuming and stressful, especially when performing in front of a live audience.
Another important aspect to consider is to not waste time by making comments that make the audience feel not good enough.
Instead, it is best to get going with your content right away and to post on your channels after the live broadcast if you want to get more views. This way, you are valuing the audience who is tuning in to see you and not making them feel not good enough.
Social media live broadcasts can be a great way to connect with your followers and potential customers in real-time.
However, it is important to consider the potential cons and to be respectful to the audience. By being mindful of these points, you can make the most of your live broadcasts and ultimately achieve greater success on social media.
