Bespoke Media has generated more than 750 property leads in six weeks after rebuilding its long running Spring prospecting campaign across Australia & New Zealand around a proprietary marketing platform developed in house.
The result is the strongest recorded in the 11 year history of its Selling in Spring Starts in Winter campaign and marks a significant expansion of Bespoke Media beyond its traditional marketing and content business.
Its new platform, AXION by Bespoke, combines content creation, video recording, social media scheduling, email, SMS, print, database prospecting and AI based sales training within one system.
Founder and chief executive Nic Fren said the platform was developed in response to a problem he believes has become increasingly pronounced across real estate, agents are expected to market across more channels while managing an increasingly fragmented collection of technology and suppliers.
“Agents know what they are supposed to be doing,” Fren said.
“They know they need to prospect, stay visible, follow up and communicate consistently across social media, video, email, SMS and print.
“The problem is that everything has traditionally lived in different places. AXION is our attempt to bring that together.”
Bespoke Media has run Selling in Spring Starts in Winter for more than a decade, based on the premise that agents seeking listings during the Spring selling season need to begin building relationships with prospective vendors months earlier.
This year, however, the company changed much of the infrastructure behind the campaign.
“We rebuilt it,” Fren said.
“We moved away from systems that were limiting what we wanted to do, built the campaign on AXION and worked closely with the networks and agents using it to understand where the friction actually was.
“We have also had some excellent new networks come into the business and their expectations pushed us to raise the standard.”
The resulting campaign includes seller and prospecting booklets, social media campaigns, email and SMS communication, video, print, letterbox material and database prospecting.
Rather than treating those components as separate campaigns, AXION is designed to allow much of the activity to be created and scheduled from the same environment.
Fren said that shift, rather than simply increasing the volume of marketing collateral available, had become the central focus of this year’s campaign.
“The question was not how much more content could we make,” he said.
“It was how quickly can we get it into the market, how many steps can we remove, and how much can be prepared in advance so the marketing does not stop the moment an agent gets busy.”
AXION includes its own design functionality, social scheduling capability and video recording tools.
Bespoke has also introduced two external partners into the Spring campaign as it looks to extend the model beyond software and content production.
GetConnects is working directly with participating agents’ databases, contacting property owners, introducing the campaign and identifying opportunities for further communication and collateral to be sent on the agent’s behalf.
The arrangement effectively adds an outbound prospecting function to the broader campaign.
PropertyCredit has contributed specialist information and resources to a 12 part booklet series being distributed progressively throughout Spring.
Bespoke opted for a series of shorter communications rather than a single large information pack, with the intention of creating regular contact between agents and property owners while providing information in smaller, more relevant increments.
“The objective was to give owners useful information without overwhelming them,” Fren said.
“It also gives the agent a legitimate reason to remain in contact over a longer period rather than every communication being another sales message.”
The platform also incorporates Bespoke Media’s AI Role Play Simulator, which includes more than 121 real estate scenarios spanning prospecting, vendor discussions, buyer conversations, landlords, property management, business development and objection handling.
Agents conduct simulated conversations and receive feedback across areas including confidence, clarity, empathy, tone and objection handling.
For Fren, the addition reflects a broader ambition for AXION.
“If the marketing creates an opportunity, eventually somebody still has to have the conversation,” he said.
“We wanted to look at that part of the process as well.”
The 750 lead result represents an early test of Bespoke’s decision to consolidate more of its marketing, prospecting and training functions inside its own technology.
It also reflects a broader shift in the company’s model after 11 years operating in real estate marketing.
What began primarily as a content and social media business is increasingly moving towards technology, automation, lead generation and sales enablement.
Fren said the aim was not to add another software subscription to an already crowded real estate technology market, but to reduce the number of disconnected processes sitting behind an agent’s marketing.
“I think AXION is what a lot of agents have wanted for years,” he said.
“They just haven’t always had the words for it.”
