Ushering in a New Era For Property Managers

Next week, I’m launching something new — a social media channel built purely for property managers and BDMs across Australia and New Zealand.
It’s a space where metro and rural PMs can connect as equals.
A place to hang out, laugh, share ideas, and feel part of a community again.
But let me be clear — this isn’t another platform full of training, compliance or coaching.
I’ve been watching what’s been happening online for the past year, and honestly, it’s brutal.
Property managers getting ripped apart in comment sections for things completely out of their control.
The abuse, the burnout, the constant pressure — it’s no wonder so many are walking away from the industry.
We don’t need another “10 ways to manage your mindset” course. We need a space that gives PMs their joy back.
From what I’m hearing in recruitment circles, it can take three to six months just to find a good property manager. And who can blame them for leaving? I wouldn’t put up with the amount of crap they cop.
So that’s what we’ve built — a digital clubhouse away from the noise.A space where PMs can connect, win prizes, get advice, and most importantly, have some bloody fun.
Boss being a jerk?
Tenant just blew up at you?
Landed on Purple Pingers again?
This is your space to laugh it off.
It’s a pretty cool concept, and it goes live next week as I head to New Zealand to launch it.
Every time I’m there, I see how much camaraderie exists between our two countries. Honestly, we’ve got a lot to learn from each other.
Take AML, for example. Aussies are losing their minds over the incoming reforms, while Kiwis have been doing it for years — and now treat it as just another part of the listing process.
What I love most about this new platform is that it’s for everyone.
When I launched Real Estate Today in Australia earlier this year, I was blown away by the engagement from regional and rural agents.
Not everyone has access to a head office, a network, or even a team.
For those one-person offices or small family-run agencies, it can get lonely — and that’s what I want to change.
But let’s get one thing straight — this isn’t for the Karens. This is For Fun Only.
The buzz is already building, but we officially go live next Wednesday, 15 October.
Social media might’ve gotten serious — but I’m bringing the fun back.
